CAMA Cruise at Affiliate Summit East in Boston

Written by Wade on May 14, 2008 – 5:00 am -

Affiliate Summit is coming up again in just less than 3 months. That’s right - Affiliate Summit East kicks off on Sunday the 10th of August and we’re going to open it up in classic CAMA style with the “CAMA Cruise” a two hour brunch cruise/site seeing trip/captive audience networking and fellowship session on Boston Harbor.

This is shaping up to be our best event yet.

It will all kick off at 8:30 am when we board the Lexington right outside the show hotel. That’s right - no bus or transportation necessary. At 9:00 AM, we’ll set sail for a 2 hour tour (a 2 hour tour) of Boston from the historic Harbor side. We’ll enjoy an awesome buffet breakfast and fellowship with 75-100 of the coolest folks in the affiliate marketing industry.

The Lexington - home of the CAMA Cruise at Affiliate Summit East 2008

We’ll return to the World Trade Center promptly at 11:00 AM, allowing plenty of time for anyone who needs to set up for the Affiliate Meet Market or any of the other educational sessions scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Affiliate Summit East.

I’ll post more in coming days with the menu for the event, information on the sponsors, testimonials from attendees of our past events,  information on sponsoring the CAMA Cruise if you are a Christian company or interested in reaching the Christian audience and registration information.

As always, CAMA events are open to people of all faiths- we invite you to share fellowship and break bread with us and kick off your Affiliate Summit on a spiritual high note.

NOTE: You can save a few bucks on Affiliate Summit and support CAMA at the same time by clicking one of the links in this post, or on the CAMA site and using the coupon code  “CAMA10” to  save 10% on  registration fees.

God Bless,

Written by Wade on February 27, 2008 – 3:02 am -

I sat down with Joel Comm of the Next Internet Millionaire and The Secret Classroom about his impressions of the CAMA Gospel Brunch Sunday morning at Affiliate Summit West. It was cool to get feedback like this from a high profile Christian brother like Joel.

Gospel Brunch - Testimonials from 2007 Event

Written by Wade on January 24, 2008 – 1:00 am -

The Gospel Brunch at Affiliate Summit is approaching fast… by my count we are less than 32 days out. I’m getting really stoked for the event and I wanted to share some feedback from a few of the affiliate marketing industry folks who attended last years inaugural event.

“There are moments where music can elevate you to a spiritual level where you feel complete oneness with your surroundings, the people around you and the presence of the creative power of God. Last year’s Gospel Brunch was one of those events; mixing business partnerships, Christianity and fellowship with spiritually uplifting music and great food. We were living totally in the present moment and connected at a higher level of understanding. The event ended and I received my first, personal copy of the Bible. It was a moving gift. Unusual for someone who went through years of Catholic school, but my Bible at home belonged to the entire family with baptism and marriage records, etc…I can’t wait to join the fun again at the House of Blues in Vegas!!” -SouthBeach Annie- Affiliate/Consultant

“The gospel brunch was an excellent opportunity to share some good food and faith with like-minded colleagues. Definitely a must attend event.” -Jim Kukral - Affiliate Summit MC

“Okay, Wade, Andy….! This was a really cool thing that you did. Sunday Morning in Vegas in the presence of gospel singing right before your very eyes; Is a truly inspirational experience. My hands are still numb from clapping.”
- Danny K – Affiliate Manager

“Wade… thanks soooo much…. you’ve provided another wonderful memory for my rocking chair on the front porch years”“Billy Kay” – Super Affiliate

“I had a great time at the Gospel Brunch last year. I encourage anyone who’s thinking about attending to make sure to be in town in time for it. If I remember correctly, the music was so good that Forrest bought the performers’ CD afterward.” -Stephanie Harris – Affiliate Manager

“Affiliate marketers are a very social group. When we come together at industry conferences or networking events, we enjoy the human interaction that is normally experienced over a keyboard and screen. The Christian Affiliate Brunch has become a unique part of the affiliate networking experience for me because it combines the social time with a deeper fellowship of individuals looking to express and enjoy their faith and beliefs together. If you are looking for a social networking event that benefits both your business and your soul, you’ve got to attend the Christian Affiliate Brunch.”-Sam Harrelson- Publisher ReveNews.com

“Wade’s CAMA Brunch is the Sunday morning event for good times and networking.” -Brook Schaaf - Affiliate Manager

Thanks to everyone who came to the past event and shared their feedback - we appreciate it and we’re working hard to make sure that this year’s event is even better. If you came last year and wanted to share feedback, please post a comment :)

If you’d like to register, we’ll make it easy:

God Bless,

Wade Tonkin
